Fall Protection System

Installation of Fall Guardrails and Industrial Bodyguards

Collective protection for platforms, walkways, stairs, roofs and maintenance areas. We analyze the risk and install the right solution.

The problem

Many companies have hazardous areas without adequate protection

Unprotected edges, raised platforms without fenders, industrial ladders without sufficient protection — these are common situations in warehouses, industrial plants and maintenance centers.

When there is a risk of falling from height, collective protection is always the first answer.

Unprotected edges

Elevated platforms without fenders

Walkways without handrails

Industrial ladders without sufficient protection

Covers with risk of falling

Maintenance areas next to unevenness

Access to machinery without collective protection

Gaps, level changes or exposed technical areas

Solutions

Not all railings are suitable for all cases

We study each installation based on risk, support, height, human traffic, environmental exposure and applicable regulations.

These are the solutions we install.

fixed industrial railings

Permanent solution for areas with continuous risk of falling.

Body guards for platforms

Perimeter protection for elevated work or maintenance platforms.

Handrails for walkways

Lateral protection on access or transit walkways over elevated areas.

Railings for industrial staircases

Protection on stairs leading to machinery, platforms or technical areas.

Railings with skirting boards

They prevent objects and tools from falling from elevated areas.

Railings for technical roofs

Perimeter protection on flat or sloped roofs with regular access.

Railings for access to machinery

Protection in areas where industrial equipment is accessed, serviced or maintained.

Modular metal railings

Systems adaptable to different configurations and installation geometries.

Integrated security doors

Controlled accesses integrated into the railing system for passage areas.

Collective fall protections

Tailor-made solutions for areas with complex geometry or specific requirements.

Our service

We don't install a generic guardrail. We solve a real problem

Every installation starts with an understanding of the real risk. The type of railing, the attachment system and the final configuration depend on the environment, the use and the applicable regulations — not on a standard catalog.

01. Analysis of the area

Before proposing any solution, we study the risk of falling, the work environment, the available support, the height, the traffic of people in the area and the intended use.

This analysis determines what type of protection is needed and how it must be installed to be truly effective.

02. Selecting the solution

We choose the right type of railing or body guard — fixed, modular, with a baseboard, with integrated access door — depending on the previous study, the conditions of the support and the applicable regulations.

There is no one-size-fits-all standard solution.

03. Installation

We carry out the installation according to the technical procedure corresponding to the type of railing and the base material.

We guarantee the strength, stability and functionality of the installed collective protection.

04. verification

Once the railing is installed, we verify that the installation fulfills its protective function and responds correctly to the use for which it was designed and to the environment in which it will operate.

05. Documentation

We provide the record of the work done when appropriate — type of solution installed, support, configuration, reference regulations and recommendations for regular use and maintenance.

Where we install

Solutions for every industrial and technical environment

We install guardrails against falls in very different environments.

Each project has its own structural, use and regulatory conditions — and each installation adapts to them.

Industrial buildings

Platforms, walkways, production areas and elevated accesses with a risk of falling.

Access to machinery

Protection in inspection, maintenance and operation areas of industrial equipment.

Metal structures

Walkways, platforms and technical areas on steel structures.

Technical covers

Flat or sloped roofs with periodic access for maintenance or inspection.

Tanks and silos

Perimeter protection in elevated access and maintenance areas.

Training centers

Intensive use facilities where collective protection must be robust and traceable.

Applicable regulations

Standard-compliant facilities

The main reference for bodyguards and permanent means of access to machinery is UNE-EN ISO 14122-3.

Depending on the type of installation, workplace regulations, the Technical Building Code or the provisions on temporary work at height may also apply.

Therefore, before installing a railing, it is essential to correctly define the environment, the intended use and the regulations that apply in each case.

FAQs

Everything you need to know before installing a railing.

What solution do I need if I have an area at risk of falling?

It depends on the environment, height, support and intended use. In many cases, a safety railing or industrial body guard can be an effective collective protection solution.

Where are the fall guards installed?

On platforms, walkways, stairs, roofs, accesses to machinery, technical areas, industrial buildings and any area where there is a risk of falling from height.

What standard applies to industrial railings?

For permanent means of access to machinery, the main reference is UNE-EN ISO 14122-3, relating to ladders, step ladders and body guards.

How long does the RASS certification last?

The RASS certification is valid for 3 years from the date of the exam. To keep it active, it is mandatory to complete the IRATA online CPD course every 12 months.

What is the difference between a guardrail and a fall arrest system?

The railing is a collective protection that protects the work area. An individual fall arrest system depends on the use of harnesses, connectors and other PPE. Whenever feasible, collective protection is a priority over the exclusive use of individual equipment.

Does EASTAV GLOBAL install fall guards?

Yes. EASTAV GLOBAL offers installation services for fall guards, industrial bodyguards and collective protections for companies, industries, roofs, platforms, stairs, walkways and maintenance areas.

Do you have an area at risk of falling?

Tell us about the problem. We study the solution

At EASTAV GLOBAL, we do not sell a generic handrail.
