Do I need to bring my Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to take the Working at Height course?

No, at EASTAV we provide you with all the personal and collective protective equipment to carry out the entire practical component of the course.

Is the Work at Height course also held online?

No, due to the physical and practical nature of the techniques taught, online training is not a viable option for the Work at Height course, it is highly practical and requires the direct supervision of certified instructors to ensure safety and the correct acquisition of technical skills. The main components of the course include: o Practical Training: A large part of the course consists of performing exercises and techniques for working at height in a controlled environment, where instructors can provide immediate feedback and correct any errors. o Evaluation in Real Situations: Participants must demonstrate their skills in scenarios that simulate real work situations. This includes proper use of equipment, rescue techniques at height and safety procedures.

Does the Work at Height Course help me to work anywhere in the world?

No, this course is valid only in Spain, it is carried out in accordance with Royal Decree 2177/2004 of November 12 and is a Spanish regulation that establishes the minimum safety and health requirements applicable to work at height. This regulation is essential to guarantee the safety of workers who carry out activities at a height of more than 2m, whether on platforms, stairs, towers and metal structures, etc.

How long does the Work at Height Course expire?

Courses taken in accordance with R.D. 2177/04 do not have a specific deadline stipulated in the decree. EASTAV recommends that recycling should be done every 3 years. Even if a certification doesn't have a formal expiration date, it's good practice to conduct ongoing training and regular updates to keep up to date with best practices, new techniques, and any changes in safety standards.
