BTT (Basic Technical Training) — complete: 5 modules
(Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Bolt Tightening and Installations) — 7 days — Price: 2,500€
BTT (Mechanical — Hydraulic and Electric) — 4 days — Price: 900€
Reservation price: 200€
Our standard GWO BTT (Basic Technical Training) modules: Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Bolt Tightening and Installations, are designed to provide workers with the knowledge, skills and abilities essential to operate these systems safely and effectively.
Students will achieve unique abilities in identifying, evaluating damage and repairing according to work instructions within the following dimensions: Structural, mechanical, coating and aerodynamic damage in the different technologies of the energy market.
What does the BTT standard include?
The BTT standard consists of 5 modules:
- Mechanics Module: Explore the essential mechanical components of wind turbines and develop skills in the use of measurement and adjustment tools.
- Electricity Module: It teaches about electrical components and sensors, interpreting electrical diagrams and taking appropriate measurements.
- Hydraulics Module: It addresses hydraulic components, symbols and procedures for handling oils and measuring hydraulic pressure.
- Installation Module: It adds a focus to the installation process, from the checklist to the commissioning. Important: To perform this module, you must have previously completed the mechanical and bolt tightening modules.
- Bolt Tightening Module: This module focuses on bolt tightening techniques, a critical aspect for ensuring the structural and operational integrity of wind turbines.
The GWO BTT (Basic Technical Training) course does not have an official expiration date, but some hiring companies may ask their employees to do periodic recycling.
The course is aimed at technicians and professionals who want to work in the wind energy industry, especially those who work in the maintenance and operation of wind turbines. This course is designed to provide workers with the essential knowledge, skills and abilities to operate a wind turbine at a mechanical, hydraulic, electrical level, installation and bolt tightening safely and effectively.
No, the call is open to all people interested in taking the course.
The complete training (all 5 modules) takes place over 7 days, 8 hours each day.
Yes, the GWO BTT (Basic Technical Training) course includes a theoretical and practical evaluation at the end of each module to ensure that participants have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills.
The price includes: all the EPI for the practice of the course, student manual, certificate and accreditation card for the course and registration with Winda
Yes, we will send you the certificates in pdf by email and the courses taken are also registered with Winda, so that any supplier, company, manufacturer in the wind energy sector can access this platform and consult your courses taken during the course period.
Although there are theoretical components of GWO BTT training, practical modules and evaluations require face-to-face assistance at EASTAV, since they involve the use of equipment and the practice of skills that cannot be replicated virtually. Therefore, no, it cannot be done online.
It is recommended before completing any module of the GWO BTT course, to first complete the mechanics module, this module provides the essential fundamentals of wind turbine components and systems that are crucial for understanding and performing tasks in the other modules. Important: To complete the SI Installation module, it is necessary to first complete the Mechanics and Bolt Tightening modules. In order to realize the installation module, in addition to the mechanical module, it is also necessary to make the bolt tightening module. These prerequisites are designed to ensure that participants are adequately prepared and have the necessary skills to successfully advance their technical training within the field of wind energy.

Una experiencia de formación IRATA 1 altamente profesional en EASTAV
I recently completed a rope access training course at EASTAV in Sevilla, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. From start to finish, the team was professional, attentive, patient, and thorough in their teaching approach.
They make sure that every student feels confident, safe, and supported throughout the course. The equipment is modern, well-maintained, and up to date, which really adds peace of mind during such a hands-on training.
On top of that, they provide a detailed book with all the essential knowledge you need, making it easy to continue learning and revising even outside the classroom.
EASTAV also has its own shop with top-quality products—from clothing to equipos—basically everything you could possibly need to work in the industry. This makes it incredibly convenient to start out fully prepared with reliable gear.
As a woman entering a field where we’re still underrepresented, I have felt nothing but welcome and supported here. EASTAV creates an inclusive environment where anyone can succeed—whether you’re male or female, new to the industry, or already experienced. You just need to be open to learning and willing to put in the effort.
Another big plus is the location—there are plenty of accessible facilities nearby, making the whole experience even more comfortable.
What really impressed me is the variety of globally recognized courses they offer, opening doors to industries such as the wind energy (sector eólico) sector and many others. EASTAV is not just a training center, but a place that helps you take real steps forward in your career.
I highly recommend EASTAV to anyone considering rope access or looking to expand their qualifications.
You’ll be in the best hands.A special thank you to Viviana, José, Hernan and Henry! 🫶
