Our Vertical Jobs training is designed for students with different levels, little experience or for those who wish to improve their current knowledge. We comply with the requirements of ROYAL DECREE 2177/04, thus ensuring quality and compliance with government regulations.

You'll learn the basic safety principles for working safely in suspension, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (EPP) and the risk identification.


You'll master the techniques needed to install string systems and progress safely in
vertical and horizontal structures. You'll learn how to handle loads safely and efficiently.
You'll acquire rescue skills to respond to emergency situations quickly and effectively.

With our training you will learn solid knowledge in safety and vertical work techniques, you'll reduce the risks of accidents and injuries in the workplace.

You will improve your skills and competencies in vertical work, allowing you to perform more effectively in your work. You will gain confidence in your abilities to carry out vertical work safely and efficiently.

Do I need to bring my Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to complete the Vertical Work course?

No, at EASTAV we provide you with all the personal and collective protective equipment to carry out the entire practical component of the course.

Do I need to have experience to complete the Vertical Work course?

No, the Vertical Work course requires no previous experience and is designed to equip participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to carry out work at height safely and competently. It's a great way to start a career in this specialized field, but you must meet certain basic requirements. These requirements usually include: o Minimum age: You must be at least 18 years old. o Physical condition: You need to be in good physical condition and without health problems that could prevent you from safely doing work at height. o Medical aptitude: You will likely need a medical certificate confirming your ability to work at heights. o Understanding the language: You must be able to understand and follow instructions in the language in which the course is taught. The Vertical Jobs course is designed for people who are new to the rope access industry and provides the basic training needed to work at height. The course covers the fundamental techniques of rope access, the safe use of equipment and the performance of basic maneuvers.

No, the Vertical Work course is valid only in Spain, it is carried out in accordance with Royal Decree 2177/2004 of November 12. It is a Spanish regulation that establishes the minimum safety and health requirements applicable to temporary work at height. This regulation is essential to ensure the safety of workers who carry out activities at height, such as cleaning facades, maintaining buildings, and other similar tasks

Is the Vertical Work course done online?

No, due to the physical and practical nature of the techniques taught, online training is not a viable option for the Vertical Jobs course, it is highly practical and requires the direct supervision of certified instructors to ensure safety and the correct acquisition of technical skills. The main components of the course include: o Practical Training: A large part of the course consists of performing rope access exercises and techniques in a controlled environment, where instructors can provide immediate feedback and correct any errors. o Evaluation in Real Situations: Participants must demonstrate their skills in scenarios that simulate real work situations. This includes proper use of equipment, rescue techniques and safety procedures.

How long does the Vertical Work course expire?

Courses taken in accordance with R.D. 2177/04 do not have a specific deadline stipulated in the decree. EASTAV recommends that recycling should be done every 3 years. Even if a certification doesn't have a formal expiration date, it's good practice to conduct ongoing training and regular updates to keep up to date with best practices, new techniques, and any changes in safety standards.
