Industrial Rescue: Everything you need to know about prevention and emergency care in your company

El industrial rescue is a set of techniques, protocols and procedures designed to respond to emergencies in high-risk industrial environments. Its main objective is save lives, reduce hazards and ensure safety both for workers in danger and for rescue workers.

Training in Industrial Rescue is implicit in the emergency plans and occupational risk prevention in companies, in addition to being highly recommended to increase worker safety, especially in industries with high-risk environments, such as chemical, petrochemical or energy plants, in companies that operate at height or in confined spaces, such as towers, silos, tunnels or industrial wells, in companies with heavy machinery and in general in organizations that want to comply with international safety and risk prevention standards.

Who should receive training in industrial rescue?

Training is not necessary for all employees, but it is necessary for those who work in hazardous conditions or are part of emergency brigades. In general, they should be formed:

• Internal rescue teams from industrial companies.
• Fire departments and emergency brigades.
• Workers at height or in confined spaces.
• Responsible for occupational safety and risk prevention.
