1. Harness

El safety harness is the heart of the fall protection system. It distributes the force of an impact in the event of an accident and keeps the user in a safe position.

Function: Connect the worker to the fall arrest or positioning system.

Key Features: Must comply with the standard IN 361, IN 358, IN 813 for fall arrest harnesses, offer dorsal and front anchor points, adjustable and padded straps, and secure buckles.

Recommendation: Always choose certified harnesses from well-known brands that guarantee ergonomics and resistance.

2. Shard

El protective helmet for working at height it is not a simple accessory: it protects the head from impacts caused by falling objects or shocks against structures.

4. Blocker

  • Function: Move upwards without the risk of slipping, blocking progress in the opposite direction.
  • Key Features: Certification EN 12841:2006 /B, EN 567:2013 and EN 12278:2007 , compatibility with the rope diameter used and ergonomic handle.
  • Recommendation: Prioritize light and resistant blockers, with stainless steel moving parts for greater durability.

5. Descensor

El Descender allows a controlled and safe descent on rope, making it easier to work in specific positions.

  • Function: Adjust the descent speed and allow precise maneuvers.
  • Key Features: Compliance with the standard EN 12841:2006/C, EN 341:2011/2A and EN 15151-1:2012/8, friction control system, and materials resistant to abrasion and high temperatures.
  • Recommendation: Automatic descenders with anti-panic function add an extra layer of safety.
